OnU — Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 October 2026
Provider: Nurlan Gasimov ("OnU", "we", "us"), United Arab Emirates
Contact: support@seeonu.app
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the OnU app and the services we provide through it (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, including your body photos. It is part of these Terms. Where the two conflict about personal data, the Privacy Policy wins.
IMPORTANT: Section 15 contains an agreement to resolve disputes through binding individual arbitration, and waives class actions and jury trials. You can opt out within 30 days. DECIDE: keep arbitration (US users only), or drop Section 15 and rely on courts. It does not bind consumers in the EU or UK.
1. Who can use OnU
- OnU has no minimum age. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), a parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms, and give the consent described in the Privacy Policy, for you. They are then responsible for your use of OnU.
- You may only use OnU for yourself, for your own personal, non-commercial use.
- You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Apple ID or Google account secure. Tell us at support@seeonu.app if you think someone else has used your account.
2. What OnU does, and what it doesn't
OnU estimates your body measurements from two photos and your height, suggests a size, and creates AI images of you wearing clothes you choose. It also suggests items and outfits based on your taste.
- Size suggestions are estimates. They come from photos, a store's size chart and our fit model, any of which can be wrong. We do not promise that an item will fit. Check the store's size guide and return policy before you buy.
- Try-on images are AI-generated illustrations, not photographs. Colour, drape, length and fit may differ from the real item on you.
- Measurements and styling notes are for choosing clothes only. They are not medical, health or fitness advice, and OnU does not assess weight or health. DECIDE: confirm wording against the body-aware styling copy.
- Product details come from the stores. Names, photos, prices, sizes, stock and promotions are taken from retailers' own pages and may be out of date or wrong. The store's own page and checkout are what count.
3. Your photos and content
"Your Content" means what you add to OnU: your body photos, height and other details, wardrobe photos, product links you paste, and fit feedback.
- You keep ownership of Your Content.
- Licence to us. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, copy and modify Your Content only to provide the Service to you (for example, to measure you, create your try-ons, and suggest items), and through the providers named in the Privacy Policy. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups, which expire as the Privacy Policy describes. We do not use your body photos to train AI models, in ads, or anywhere public.
- Only photos of yourself. You promise that body photos are of you, and that you have the right to upload every photo you add. Do not upload photos of anyone else, or nude or sexual images.
- Try-on images we create for you are for your personal use. You may keep and share them, but not to mislead anyone about who is pictured, to harass anyone, or to suggest a brand endorses you or OnU.
4. Rules of use
You must not:
- upload content that is unlawful, sexual, violent, hateful, or that infringes anyone's rights, or try to get the Service to generate such images;
- impersonate anyone, or use someone else's photos or account;
- scrape, crawl, copy or resell the Service, its catalogue or its outputs, or use them to build a competing product or train AI models;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or interfere with the app, our servers or security, or get around rate limits, usage limits or moderation;
- use the Service in breach of any law.
We may use automated checks (including our image provider's moderation) to refuse photos or requests that break these rules.
5. Fair use and changes to the Service
Try-ons and some other features cost us money for each use. We may set reasonable limits on how often you can use them, and we may add, change or remove features, or stop the Service, at any time. Where a change materially reduces something you paid for, we will tell you in advance where we can. DECIDE: if OnU adds subscriptions or paid credits through In-App Purchase, add a section on pricing, renewal, cancellation and refunds (refunds go through Apple).
6. Buying from stores
OnU is not the seller of any product shown in the app.
- When you buy through OnU, the order is placed with the retailer DECIDE: name the checkout partner, e.g. "through our checkout partner Rye", once in-app checkout is live. The retailer is the seller and is responsible for the product, delivery, returns, refunds and warranties, under its own terms and policies.
- Payment is made with Apple Pay. OnU does not see or store your card number.
- When you open a store's own website or app, that store's terms apply.
- Promo codes and "savings" shown in OnU are applied by the store and are not guaranteed.
- Brand names, logos and product photos belong to their owners. Showing them does not mean a brand partners with or endorses OnU. DECIDE: disclose any affiliate or commission relationships here and next to the products concerned.
7. Our property
The app, our software, designs, fit model and our own content belong to Nurlan Gasimov or our licensors. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules. All rights we do not expressly grant are reserved.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without paying or crediting you.
8. Third-party services
OnU relies on other services, including Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, Apple Pay, and the stores whose products you view. We are not responsible for them, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
9. Deleting your account; suspension
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (You → Photos and privacy → Delete account). This permanently deletes your data as the Privacy Policy describes, and ends these Terms.
- We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other people or the Service. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.
- Sections 3 (only the promises about your content), 4, 7, and 10 to 16 survive termination.
10. Disclaimers
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT MEASUREMENTS, SIZE SUGGESTIONS, TRY-ON IMAGES OR PRODUCT INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, COST OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS, OR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING FROM ANY ITEM THAT DOES NOT FIT; AND (B) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF US$50 AND THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. AMOUNTS YOU PAY TO RETAILERS ARE NOT AMOUNTS PAID TO US.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer where you live.
12. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will compensate us for claims and reasonable costs (including legal fees) brought by third parties that arise from Your Content or from your breach of these Terms or the law.
13. Apple and the App Store [App Store]
- These Terms are between you and Nurlan Gasimov only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) of the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses from a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility, to the extent not disclaimed in these Terms.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- If a third party claims the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Questions, complaints or claims about the app go to us at the contact details at the top of these Terms.
- You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, once you accept them, may enforce them against you.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to Section 15, disputes will be heard in the state and federal courts located in Delaware. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there.
15. Dispute resolution (US users)
DECIDE: Option A (JAMS) from the General Legal template is reproduced below. Drop this whole section if you don't want arbitration.
- Talk to us first. Before starting a claim, send a written notice to support@seeonu.app describing it and what you want. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 60 days.
- Binding individual arbitration. If we can't, you and we agree to resolve any dispute about the Service or these Terms by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules (claims under $250,000) or Comprehensive Arbitration Rules (larger claims), in the county where you live unless we agree otherwise. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court, or seek an injunction to protect intellectual property.
- No class actions; no jury. YOU AND WE WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO BRING OR TAKE PART IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim goes to court in Delaware and the rest stays in arbitration.
- Mass filings. If 100 or more similar demands are filed by the same firm or coordinated group within 30 days, JAMS will batch them in groups of 100, with one arbitrator and one set of fees per batch.
- Opt out. You may opt out of this Section 15 within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@seeonu.app with your name, the email on your OnU account, and a clear statement that you opt out.
16. General
- Changes. We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using OnU after that, the new Terms apply; if you don't agree, delete your account.
- Notices. You agree that we may give you notices electronically, in the app or by email.
- California users. Under California Civil Code §1789.3: the provider of the Service is Nurlan Gasimov, Jumeirah Village Triangle, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
- Whole agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them to a successor of our business.
